brighton.

the etnies backyard jam was in brighton this weekend, so we used the excuse to go and play by the seaside for 3 days. most of the photos are just from the pier as thats the only time i took out the camera, but the whole weekend was bright and sunny which was lucky.

the old brighton pier that burnt down was running about a mile parallel with the existing one, the skeleton of the old one was still standing in the water though, it looked like a warning of what was to come for the existing one, which made us wonder why the council left it still standing, but it looked good.

members of the euro squad spotted in disguise on brighton pier.

"thug life": james frain featuring mike siddall

i think everyone else went on this ride apart from me and clarky, we were both dead from the first ride:

scariest ride in the world.

what is it about piers that makes them so photogenic?

choppy.

i went to see swan lake today with't family, it was pretty interesting as i've never been to see a proper ballet before, so i'd recommend going just for the novelty value.

desired constellation

i cant say all that much has happened since the last post, tomb is now 26, and i went to see kate rusby last night.

these two pics are gems, i always want to capture something lit by the sun against dark clouds and saturday was that day, especially good because of the turning leaves and low sun.
