incidental pt1

i could have spread all these photos out over a few posts, but i'm lazy, and your impatient, so here they are. the post is titled incidental because of the nature of the photos, taken whilst doing other things (i'm sure they'll all have lenghty descriptions though...)

we took a trip to preston and remarkably enough the weather was good, lovely in fact. we met enough enthusiastic mad ones and rode the good stuff you ride when in preston. clarky saw this set up and got it done, and gaz filmed:

luckily he was looking through the viewfinder when clarky executed the manouvre.

tommy striking a glance in frankie and benny's whilst clarky picked up waitresses

matt coram nosewheelies student property in owens park, fallowfield.

gaz films matt coram, same day, different location.

ikebana

so prague seems pretty much booked now, there is a whopping 9 of us going and i'm sure the madness will be as never-ending as expected really. we also just recieved our sigur ros tickets which is the night before prague, i cannae wait...

as you have probably noticed, wdphotos now has a frontpage thingy which i'm pretty pleased with, it may take a couple of seconds to load properly the first time, but when you come back (thats if you do) it will be fine for your viewing enjoyment time and time again. and on the website updatement note, gain has had a wee overhaul that sean spent many a troubled hour on i gather, check it out now!

the frontpage photo is part of this set of photos which were all shot in infrared film, apparently it all went wrong, thats what they said at the lab, but i scanned em in anyway and i think they look pretty sweeeet....

welcome to the academic megatour of the moor, beginning with my primary school:

moving on now from my primary school to my secondary school. gaz does a cosmic peg to fakie on the astro turf.

and carrying on with the theme, we move from my secondary school to my college grounds! tommy went up this big and rural looking bank to fufanu. (the bank is actually massive, despite the foggy film, the bottom is pretty much the bottom of the frame where matt is sitting).

my dreamy bedroom.

down the pub then is it?

the highly anticipated tour of pembrokeshire, cardiff and bristol commenced last monday, the stops being pembrokeshire for camping and such on monday night, cardiff tuesday and a travel inn that night, then onto bristol for wednesday, the last day of the tour. in all the whole thing went smoothly and much fun was had, also the weather was really ace given the previous weeks deluges most days.

whitesands beach, pembrokeshire on day 2. we spent the morning at this beach after a semi comfortable night in the tents, to be awoken by crows at 5am, and being tents the noise was so that it seemed they were in the tents with us, which was needless to say, pretty scary. for me anyway.

the man with the plan, sean malone at the beach.

gaz kite flying. dont be fooled by gareths jumper and trousers, it was mega hot on the beach and for the rest of that day, which some felt the effects of more than others.

tommy gore is never one to shy away from technical tricks, and this bench was no exception. nose manual, two minutes to midnight in cardiff bay. we were pleasantly surprised with the abundance of good stuff to ride in both cardiff and bristol, so much so that we ended up riding into the early hours.

clarky 180s out of a big ol Lloyds building ledge the hard way in bristol.
by the way, all the fisheye photos are with seans lens, so i suppose he half took them. thanks sean!
