life gets in the way of living

friday night: i went to watch three bands perform their musical talent at emmanuel church in didsbury, doctrine played along with rhythmic coughing and blush. doctrine and rhythmic coughing both played admirably, blush on the other hand weren't the best. at first i found it amusing for two punk bands to be on a set with a christian girls r'n'b group, and it was, but it wore off after the first 2 minutes and left me with a very boring hour long blush set to sit through until rhythmic coughing, which leads me onto another thing, despite the good venue, lighting, sound etc, they wouldnt let you leave at all once you'd payed, what i mean is, you weren't allowed back in once you had left, which wasnt the best either. anyway, onto the photos, they let me take pictures from the balcony as well!

here are also some photos from the rhythmic coughing gig in satans:

sunshine the werewolf

i have been so busy over the past couple of weeks, maybe its good, maybe its bad, although i have a theory that the busier you are the more productive you are (sorry, that sounds silly, as obviously you do more when your busy) but what i mean is you get more of your own stuff done as well as say college work and mediocre hassles that take up time. i'm currently juggling working at sainsburys, college, college homework, photography projects and maybe even riding, despite saying that after the skiing trip "all would be clear for me to ride every day again" which evidently isnt the case, as this week i managed only to ride tuesday and it looks like i wont be again until next tuesday. but nevertheless, at least a lot of fun stuff has been done in between all the daily hassles. anyway, here are some photos, another nostalgic delve into my piles of slides and prints for the scanner. all of these were taken between march and may 2003.
