prague

its 2:15am and i have to leave for the flight to geneva in 3 hours, for some reason i'm up doing the prague post on here. prague was amazing, there seems so much to write about this city and everything that happened there, but due to the circumstances, i'm going to make this post a picture and captions thing with less writing, expect a more thorough write-up when i get back from france (in 3 weeks). hopefully the pictures will do for now...

there were 9 main participants for this trip, ben taylor also came for a long weekend to make it double figures. the players were:

me
mike siddall
mike gillibrand
andrew clarke
tom baskeyfield
gaz hunt
tommy gore
laurence taylor
sean malone

it was mad how smoothly everything ran, with the exception of sean and tommy's cameras falling victim to some catburglar in the hostel.

hradcany - prague castle bathed in the evening light

bedlam in the hostel room

tommy goes from this to that at a really good spot a friendly local chap took us to.

mish mosh get a wash - loz pegs it!

on the balcony

a sinister looking radio tower. a monument to the communist regime.

loz flings a hammer with an x-up grind down the stalin square rail.

gaz counteracts with his first ever backwards grind down a rail, in shorts and no pads! what a hero.

one of pragues many winding streets. the architecture is the first thing you notice on arrival and its some of the most impressive i have ever seen, spanning the different changing styles of building over the past 800 years.

we even got to ride trails! tommy mixes it up with an x-up

next thing you know, boom! eat my invert. tomb gives some trails tutorials.

sean barspin 180's out of the dejvicka funbox.

loz bunnyhop-whips in the bubblewrap square

euro squad in effect on the other side of the river.

its 2:45am now and i'm going to get an hours sleep before leaving i reckon. lets hope i get some website-worthy photos from the french alpes...

hot rail

i would have to say the last 2/3 days have been some of the most uneventful of the year. i have done nothing at all (apart from sleep), so to get out of that routine i did stuff today to prepare for prague and get supplies and stuff in town, which was cool. i took these photos yesterday in a streak of boredom. it was a good sky, so i thought i may as well see what i could do with what was around my house.

sean, tell me if my camera is straight ,i fear it is not.

television aerial, whilst people were watching it downstairs.

back to the puddle...

and just to mix it up some post rain macro steez.
