let it snow...
well this is the second time i've lagged on updates, oh well...
as you can tell from the title, snow has prevailed since tuesday, it has been good and bad. good for snowball fights, bad for pretty much everything else.
tuesday saw a fun time in manchester, riding conditions very brilliant for about 3 hours until it began to snow at around 9:15, when we resorted to subway. post subway snowball fights were had in the soft warm snow and needless to say our bikes took it.
here's some awful pictures of manchester things - g-mex, albert square, victoria station.
although irrevelent, this is a funny photo of tommy.
well its thursday and you know what that means... its cara's hate list day!
here's the next 10 hate's (i cannot be held responsible for what cara hates, so don't blame me if you like this stuff)
11. People who leave chewing gum in places which aren’t bins
12. Wearing a rucksack on one shoulder
13. Mud, without wellies
14. People who show off gadgets they don’t need
15. Crumbs in pockets
16. Wet seats
17. Fat writing. Hello… etc…
18. Wet bottoms of pants
19. Rucksacks which have lumpy, uncomfortable bits in the back/uneven weight
20. People who whistle through their fingers
and finally here's a photo - show me the munny!

no more sunsets
well well well, here we are again on sunday night, a day of supremely excellent riding went down, everyone pulled off some rad manouvere one way or another. also we have some video clips too! so the day began at the train station, once in manchester we went to roamed around a little then found ourselves in white bridge where clarky hopped a rail and i hurt my hand, boy it hurt, anyhow we then met mike and went to the infamous brown rail with that kink which gaz tried to backwards, but ended up with a bumped botty, clarky did it all good an' proper like with a 180 to backwards 5050 to half cab out, which was amazing, and i filmed it extraordinarily badly (sorry clarky). we then went to st. annes square but left pretty quickly due to some unwanted visitors and embarked upon subway (the tramp one), we then went back to st. annes where a good session was had by all, and we headed homeward bound for the 7:50 train to heaton chapel.

i plan on putting up cara's hate list here, but as it is three pages long I will have to shorten it a little, so here are 10 of the 128 hate's upon the list:
1. People who leave doors open, especially when it’s cold.
2. Goats
3. Colds
4. The cold/winter
5. Fizzy drinks, that are too fizzy
6. Trainers that are laced up too tight
7. When I burn my ear
8. Puddles when not wearing wellies
9. Cold rain
10. People who are lazy and refuse to close doors

here are 12 rolls of film that i need to get developed, soon...
a good session was had at the local last night, some homies pulled some stunts and fun was rife.
one day i will get microsoft frontpage and you will have a proper site with real sections, but until then we'll have to make do with posts and photos.

hello there web-wanderers, things are getting underway with my darkroom now, I have a table, chair, trays, safelight, all I need is some chemicals and an enlarger then I will be developing away in my little room.
here's a really boring cliche shot of some barbed wire that I took sometime in june at the now defunct poynton trails.

sunset (again)
hi kids, looks like I've already broken my resolution of an update a day, ho hum...
yesterday was a most splendid day of riding and film watching. sunday was the day of changed plans, first off we intended to go to warrington skatepark but that was called off due to some unwelcome rain, and we decided the mancunion way quarters were a safer option. secondly we initially planned to go to parrswood to watch lost in translation but it was sold out so we re-routed to the tacky trafford centre.
Manchester was fun, although we didn't actually get any "real street" done at all, we rode the manc way quarters where i had a silly crash and then went to a skatepark in hulme, which was suffice to say, ghetto as you like, although we didnt encounter any of the shady sort and I even managed to take a photo or 2 with my digi camera, which turned out better than expected...
if anyone reads this before 5 on monday, turn on your tv's to channel 1 at 5pm and see the delights of jon, baz and randall riding on blue peter! some sort of hoffman promo i think...
here's some random stats, 72 people have visited the website since sunday, woop-de-doo basil...
so following on from manchester we made haste to the trafford centre, which as i mentioned earlier is the king of tack, nuff plastic statues...
we watched "the last samurai" which was a very good film indeed, starring mr cruise as a worn out soldier who becomes a samurai, not the last though, the last was his friend samurai. the film was great, the chairs weren't and neither were the other film watchers who did a great job of spoiling the atmosphere.
well i'll cease my idle ramblings now and without further ado present a photo that has 3 great attributes,
1. it was on a silly digital camera
2. it has a nice sunset
3. jon is going high enough for a good view of the sunset beneath him

double vision
whats this? the same cat? twice? in the same photo? trick of the light...
Went to the extreme sports mecca that is leeds skatepark, the aptly named "works" as it has every ramp combination available to mankind. good session but ended on a bit of low due to an unlucky barny and an even unluckier ankle...
"american splendor" looks to be a jolly good film, hope to see it in the near future, also "lost in translation" looks to be a fine choice for any movie-goers in the near future...

Trees
This photo was taken by my cousin joe, whilst we were in Vancouver in the summer. He couldn't think of a caption so I've just left it as "trees"....
sunset ahoy
In keeping with my "photo a day" (maybe) motto I've put up this photo of a picturesque sunset, shot from my bedroom window on a cold bikeless day in november. went to bolton bones last night where they were playing hard house music and had a DJ.
