went walking yesterday in the lake district, it was really good and we couldn't have asked for better weather, i also realised quite how unfit i am and that a hearty breakfast doesn't necessarily make it faster walking up the hill. in all it was a great day, expect some photos soon, actually don't as its unlikely they'll be developed for the next year or so...

well another day has passed, today was mostly uneventful. i went to a gig in which two bands played, which was fun, i took some photos and it should be interesting to see how they turn out! well malaga will be off the hizzy for those going but mostly off completely for me as i have exams...

manchester again...

here's oxford road on the way in. we met up with the chester boys and some homies and went through the
ghetto to the velodrome, clarky did that rail on the left which was good, looked at some other stuff then went to subway. not a lot of riding really all weekend but fun nevertheless.

here's a photo of the drained canal from near bridgewater. those are bottles on the bottom...

yes, i believe manchester was the complete opposite of thursday today, as it was wet and windy. its odd to think that a week last tuesday it was snowing, then last thursday it was hot and sunny and today it was stormy, thats climate change folks...

well anyway, we went to manchester feeling optomistic about riding, but were promtly shunned by the rain and had to retreat. so the rain stopped and we decided to go to salford anyway and nosy around the university, we had a lovely time looking at things that would be good to ride if it was dry, but didn't actually do any riding whatsoever. so the unanimous decision was to go to subway, where clarky looked like alan partridge.

so that just about rounds off saturday of the wet, i watched "falling down" last night, which i liked, and you might too.

i am so useless at getting material for this website i have to steal other people's, so here is a selection of photo's my sister took whilst in paris last week.

yes indeed, a fabulous session was had in manchester yesterday, possibly the best time i've ever had riding in town actually. everyone was out and we all did our thing, me and tommy arrived at around 4 so we got some sun too, riding in t-shirts outdoors in february yeeee-haw! we were there for about 5 hrs in total and rode a good variety of spots, sean was very impressive and did a sizeble gap to icepick and also a feeble to x-up lander to 180 at st. annes square, which was needless to say, amazing. so all was well and it was rounded off in subway and then we all went our seperate ways home.

yeah i know its normally on a thursday but here's the list of hate from cara:

lots of it today, i made some stickers using a photo from my art project, chris higham sent me some art to put up and this montage used photo's taken on the art trip.

i had some ideas for fun stuff to put up on here, and one of them is to do a small "10 questions" article, basically it would be whoever's favourite book etc. email ideas please...

if you want any stickers ask me, stocks are limited but i should get one to anyone who wants one.

well, its sunday afternoon and i have nothing better to do than update this thing, so onwards...

saturday was the day that clarky, gaz, mike, matt and myself went to the crowded haven of rampworx in liverpool, and it was indeed crowded. i think a good session was had by everyone, despite the crowded park and punctures that were plaguing me and matt. i also hurt my ankle, but nevertheless a fun time was had.
